1. Membership is based on yearly periodic subscription fees which are detailed on our Website’s Become A Member page. Your membership will be suspended or cancelled if we do not receive the fees for your subscription type on the due date.
2. Your Membership Subscription is active the day it is purchased. Due date of your next payment for continued membership is one year from the date of purchase.
3. You may have rights granted to you by law which may entitle you to a refund of Membership fees in specific circumstances. Otherwise, refunds of subscription fees will not be made.
4. We are pleased to be able to offer exclusive Content and Events for our members, which we aim to regularly add to. The Content and Events will be updated, changed or removed from time to time, at our discretion, so we can’t guarantee that specific Content and Events will always be available to members.
5. You also must not:
a. use a false email address, impersonate others, or misrepresent your affiliation with others;
b. insert advertising, branding or other promotional content anywhere on the website;
c. attempt to gain unauthorized access to computer systems or materials through the website or museums and physical locations;
d. use the Website or Locations in a way that violates applicable law, that violates third party intellectual property or other rights, or that is, fraudulent, obscene, offensive, or defamatory; or
e. except as allowed in these Membership Terms, copy, distribute, transmit, modify or otherwise exploit the Content or any other data or code made available through your Membership.
6. Our information collection and use of any personal information about you is set out in our Privacy Policy.
7. You may Cancel your Recurring Membership Payment (if applicable) at any time however this does not entitle you to a refund.
8. We control and operate your Membership Services from our offices in Canada. The laws of Canada govern these Membership Terms, and you and Old Sydney Society submit to the jurisdiction of the courts there.
